So I was talking to my partner bout the new “light fury” and my theory is that she’s from an arctic area, the white would work as camo and her head shape is bulkier/rounder so my theory for that is that she’s thicker boned to be able to crush through ice to hunt fish. Since we haven’t seen her wings/tail yet I’m theorizing they’ll be smaller and more rounded, more like whale fines that wings

Right!! And if you look it seems like she has a back fin that is folded down. Her design just screams water dragon!

every time i look at her, there’s a huge part of my brain that just starts screaming “BELUGA”

RIGHT! Like she 100% looks like she’s based off of a Beluga whale!

You know I didn’t even think of this and this makes so much sense I hope that’s EXACTLY what it is

I’m desperately hoping she’s aquatic because if it IS sexual dimorphism it’s extremely lazy, but if she’s aquatic, it’s really neat adaptations. 

shorter claws, bigger forehead, shorter nose, fewer and smaller… flanges? whatever those things on the side of the head are. 

all of these things could be beluga-esque elements! especially the flanges, if she’s aquatic they may have reduced for streamlining purposes.
